Building Youth Livelihoods Through Entrepreneurship!

By 2030, we aim to support 100,000 young people across East Africa to build sustainable enterprises and secure dignified work.

When Talent Outpaces Opportunity!

Across East Africa, youth entering the labour market outnumber formal jobs created annually. The employment challenge cannot be solved by formal jobs alone.

Enterprise is a pathway!

Most youth need to build livelihoods through self employment and starting small enterprises.

Turning Potential Into Livelihoods.

Wezesha Impact creates economic opportunity for youth in East Africa through entrepreneurship.

We do this through delivering experiential entrepreneurship education, micro-enterprise growth support and ecosystem strengthening.

Proven Impact

Our model has been independently evaluated and shows measurable labour-market and income effects.

Our Model

Young people learn through practice, transition into real livelihoods with continued support, and generate evidence that helps improve programmes and partner systems.

Where Skills Become Opportunity!

At Nawanyago Vocational Institute in Eastern Uganda, young people are turning everyday vegetables into new possibilities for enterprise and income. What began as a classroom project has grown into a promising student-led agribusiness initiative focused on adding value to locally available produce.

Using a dehydrator donated by Wezesha Impact, students are processing vegetables into food spices and producing crisps, gaining practical experience in transforming raw produce into marketable products.

Through hands-on learning, they are developing skills in product development, problem-solving, teamwork, and enterprise management while building the confidence to identify opportunities within their communities. Through its collaboration with vocational institutions, Wezesha Impact is helping connect practical skills, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity, creating pathways for young people to turn what they learn into sustainable livelihoods.

Built to Scale

Our scale strategy is built on real enterprise practice, delivery through existing TVET and community systems, continued post-training support, standardised tools, trained delivery partners and outcome tracking.

Our impact has been recognized!
